Hardscaping that holds
the ground and the eye.
Stonework is the part of a landscape you cannot redo cheaply. Base prep, compaction and drainage get the same attention as the cap stones.

What we build
Structure first. Everything else is planting.
Middle Tennessee clay holds water and moves. Walls that skip gravel backfill and compaction lean within a few seasons — so we do not skip them.
- 01
Retaining walls
Segmental block or natural stone, terraced where a single wall would be too tall.
- 02
Steps & landings
Level treads that connect grade changes without a scramble.
- 03
Walkways
Paver and flagstone paths routed the way people actually walk.
- 04
Borders & edging
Stone edges that hold bed lines and mulch in place through storms.
Slopes & drainage
A slope is usable yard waiting to be terraced.
We read where water goes before deciding where stone goes. Terracing a steep back yard often gains a flat lawn, a planting shelf and a dry foundation in the same project.
